Austrian Society for Mountain and High Altitude Medicine
The Austrian Society for Mountain and High Altitude Medicine (ÖGAHM) is one of the world’s largest professional societies in the field of alpine and high altitude medicine. With members from more than a dozen countries, we provide a communication and information forum for all individuals, institutions, and associations interested in alpine and high altitude medicine.
The Austrian Society for Mountain and High Altitude Medicine (ÖGAHM) sees itself as a central platform for exchange, information, and networking in the field of alpine and high altitude medicine.
Our aim is to promote scientific research while creating a close link between theory and practice. We are committed to disseminating and advancing knowledge in alpine and high altitude medicine nationally and internationally, and to making it accessible to a broad audience within and beyond the medical profession.
Through cooperation with renowned partners and institutions, we are well connected worldwide and thus seek to actively help shape the future of alpine and high altitude medicine.
