Newsletter submissions welcome!

Our goal remains to keep the Alpine Medicine Newsletters compact and professional. This requires a regular influx of submissions for the editorial team. We therefore invite all members as well as non-members to submit articles.

The following types of contributions can be published:

  • Thematic peripheral areas with a medical connection, such as meteorology, geology, or botany
  • Interesting and practice-relevant case reports
  • Course and travel reports with a relevant connection to the practice of alpine and high altitude medicine
If you are planning to write or submit an article for the Alpine Medicine Newsletter:

We request compliance with the author guidelines, which you will receive upon contact and can also find here.

Submitted articles will be reviewed by the editorial team. After reviewing the submitted articles, the editorial team reserves the right not to publish contributions or to publish them only after revision.
