BExMed has updated its research prize. ÖGAHM members are also eligible to apply and may submit proposals.
BExMed has once again announced research funding in the field of high altitude and expedition medicine for the year 2024, totaling €8,000 for young researchers.
Applications may be submitted by members of BExMed and ÖGAHM. The application must be sent to BExMed in electronic form (PDF file to info@bexmed.de). All applications received electronically by December 31, 2024 (24:00) will be considered.
The research project must be in the field of mountain medicine, high altitude medicine, or expedition medicine; clinical or experimental projects are supported. Original or unconventional projects that are likely to provide new insights into problems or diseases of high altitude and expedition medicine are particularly worthy of funding.
