We are delighted to announce and invite you to the 8th International Leh Symposium, scheduled for October 23 – 27, 2026. The event will be hosted at the Fortune Park Moksha Hotel, McLeodganj, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India, under the auspices of the 'Hypobaric Hypoxia Society (HHS)', India.
The flyer includes key information. More details are available on the symposium website, www.lehsymposium.in, which will be updated periodically. It would be our honour if you could grace our Symposium with your esteemed presence and help make it a grand success.

The symposium's theme is 'Therapeutic Targets and Molecular Mechanisms for Pulmonary Diseases in Hypoxia'. We anticipate participants and experts specializing in fields such as medicine, physiology, cardiovascular, and basic sciences from around the world to present their groundbreaking findings and engage in exciting, cutting-edge discussions. Your scientific contribution will ensure the very purpose of the Symposium.

We expect a strong turnout, driven by early commitments from international delegates, reflecting both the popularity of our symposium and the appeal of the venue to global travelers. The location is well connected by road, rail, and air, ensuring convenient access for all attendees. Participants can book their stay directly with the conference hotel at a discounted rate—booking details, including a special link and code, will be shared soon. Please note that the discounted rate includes all three meals when booked using the symposium code. If needed, we would be happy to assist you with your booking arrangements. While we recommend staying at the designated conference hotel for convenience, delegates can also choose alternate accommodations. October and November are peak tourist months, so we encourage you to finalize your lodging arrangements early.

Himachal Pradesh is an enchanting region that offers many sightseeing opportunities. The well-known Dhauladhar Himalayan range is a trekker's paradise, and Bir Billing is famous as India's paragliding capital, offering a world-class experience for both tandem and solo flights. As the home of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, McLeod Ganj is a sacred and spiritually important place, highly popular with both domestic and international tourists.

We look forward to reaching out to each of you individually with further details. In the meantime, please treat this as a personal invitation and confirm your participation at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

On behalf of the Organizing team
